Long gone
Long Gone. 18 x 24"

Many old barns were tended by goats and chickens, who used to keep down the weeds and bugs, respectively. My own childhood saw the demise of this practice, and an increase in blackberry pies and chigger bites. Now, more often than not, if a barn is in a field, it is surrounded by mown grass like a shrine to those with no name.
